Our Kombuchas

We use organic Japanese sencha tea because its more fun than black tea. Our teas are all second generation (we brew a starter tea with vinegar and a second batch with the starter tea , which balances the flavors). We use pure cane sugar because the fermentation converts the sugar to fizz and bubbles.

Our favorites include: Spiced Apple, Spicy Mint Watermelon, Beet & Ginger, Grape & Clove, Bloody Mary.

Kimchi and 'Krauts

OUR KIMCHI: a mostly traditional recipe that uses a liberal amount of salted shrimp and fish sauce to take the pungency to 11. We’ll throw in rainbow carrots when they’re available, but other than that don’t see any reason to get cute with a formula this time-tested. (Vegan option also available).

OUR ‘KRAUT: Our signature ‘kale kraut ain’t just for sausages. The crunch and earthiness of black kale will have you piling it on avocado toast, onto your omelettes… or spooning it straight out of the jar like peanut butter. Lucky for you, we pack it tightly into the jar, so its mostly veggies and just the right amount of brine.
